Tyncan Learning achieves its first accreditation

We are really pleased to announce that we have managed to achieve centre accreditation from Ascentis. The first set of courses will be Functional Skills, Health and Safety and Awards in IT user skills. We have also managed to achieve through our training partner TDR the ability to offer OCR QCF Languages entry level to level 4.  We have also managed to achieve Centre accreditation from the British Computer Society (BCS) to deliver the ECDL suite of programs and ITQ Flexiqual, Digital Creator Level 1-3, e-Safety, e-Type and Digital Skills with Computer and online basics. These are really significant milestones  for the company and we hope we can move forward and achieve more accreditation for delivering high quality courses.  Tyncan is also recognised as a centre which can deliver the NAACEmark to schools and also assess schools wishing to achieve the award.

We are starting a Saturday morning Computer club for young people aged 7 – 11 and will hope to have activities running during the school holidays. We have also started a series of “Twilight Sessions” for teachers and learning assistants offering training on particular software they can use within the curriculum.  We are waiting for confirmation of a couple of conferences which will be coming up shortly so we are really happy that this venture is beginning to take off. We are also working with schools and have just put together an attractive Service Level Agreement (SLA) package for school support.

Tyncan is also able to offer a managed service support for schools through TSG education SystemCare
